Guide Michelin – Germany 2015

All 11 restaurants with three stars in the Michelin Guide retained their stars for the 2015 edition. Furthermore, no new restaurants were added in the 3-stars category.

Restaurant Ammolite (the Lighthouse restaurant) in Rust (Baden-Württemberg), Brenners Park Restaurant in Baden-Baden (Baden-Würtenberg) and EssZimmer in Munich, have all gained a second star in the 2015 Michelin Guide for Germany. Notable is that restaurant Ammolite is situated on Europa-Park, the largest theme park in Germany and EssZimmer in Münich is located in the BMW exhibition center.

2-stars restaurant Villa Merton will close its door at the end of 2014 and will no longer be featured in the guide. Restaurant Buddenbrooks in Lübeck has been downgraded to one star.

The 2015 guide will feature a total of 11 three-stars, 38 two-stars and 233 one-star restaurants. Also, 474 restaurants are listed in the Bib Gourmand category.
