Le Puits Saint Jacques is an exquisite restaurant west of Toulouse (France) and once a coaching stop on the Camino de Santiago. With its charming ambiance, attentive service, and delectable cuisine, it has become a popular destination for both locals and tourists alike. Bernard Bach, the long-time head chef here, has passed down his passion for cooking and expertise of regional ingredients to his nephew, chef William Candelon.

We made a stop here for lunch, but all agree that we would have liked to stay here for a more extended meal. Le Puits Saint Jacques prides itself on using only the freshest, highest quality ingredients, and it truly shows in every dish. The menu is a celebration of French cuisine, with a modern twist. From classic favorites like escargots and foie gras to innovative creations featuring local produce, there is something to please every palate.

To complement your meal, the restaurant boasts an extensive wine list, featuring a selection of local and international wines. Save some room for dessert, as Le Puits Saint Jacques offers a mouthwatering selection of sweet treats.

Overall, Le Puits Saint Jacques is a hidden gem that offers a truly memorable dining experience. From the charming ambiance to the impeccable service and exceptional cuisine, every aspect of this restaurant is top-notch. Whether you’re a food enthusiast or simply looking for an unforgettable meal, Le Puits Saint Jacques is sure to leave a lasting impression.
